This is a great opportunity to join our WA North West Maintenance team working 100km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia’s resource-rich Pilbara region. Work scope includes pulley changes, bearing changes, gearbox seal changes and conveyor maintenance.
The Role
- Perform precision laser alignment of rotating equipment, pulleys, shafts, and motor alignment.
- Carry out pulley and bearing changes, ensuring correct fitting and alignment to reduce wear and vibration.
- Conduct gearbox seal replacements, including disassembly, seal installation, and reassembly with accurate alignment of shafts.
- Undertake conveyor maintenance, including roller changes, belt inspections, and alignment of drive components.
- Execute general mechanical inspections to identify faults, wear, or misalignment, and recommend corrective actions.
- Use diagnostic tools and alignment systems to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures while working on mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
About You
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
- MSIC (Desireable)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
- Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
