Civmec are currently seeking expressions of interest Mechanical Fitters to join our ever-growing team, on a new and exciting Construction Project recently awarded in the Pilbara Region of WA. This role will be FIFO from Perth.
The Robe Valley Sustaining – MESA A Project is located near Warramboo, approximately 140 km Southwest of Karratha in the Pilbara region of WA.
The town of Pannawonica is the nearest township and is located approximately 14 km northeast of the existing Mesa J hub and approximately 40 km east of the existing Mesa A hub.
Civmec’s Scope for the Mesa A Project includes the supply, fabrication, modularisation, transportation to site, erection, modification, installation, and commissioning of structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation.
The project is expected to commence July 2020 with expression of interest interviews commencing immediately.
- Perform mechanical repairs and servicing of various civil and workshop plant and machinery
- Conduct fault finding for breakdowns
- Maintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materials
- Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment
- Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
- Conduct marking and lining out
- You will be based in Perth, Western Australia or be prepared to make your own way to Perth as the point of hire.
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
- Previous construction experience in the mining and resources sector
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
