Civmec has secured the award of a major construction contract for Pilbara Minerals at their Pilgangoora site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

This is a Greenfields lithium project and the scope includes the SMPEI construction of new and parallel processing structures and equipment to expand the mines nameplate capacity to 1000ktpa. Civmec will construct an additional grinding and classification circuit, Pre-flotation magnetic separation circuit, a duplicated flotation circuit, wet processing circuit, reagents facility, a product and storage facility, along with the provision of supporting water, air, and power infrastructure services. Civmec will also be installing several large vendor equipment packages, such as thickeners, a ball mill, and filter press.

This is a great opportunity for Operators to join our SMP team working on the newly appointed Pilgangoora project in the Pilbara Region of WA on a FIFO 3 & 1 roster.

Your Role

  • We require operators for 3-7T Telehandler, 25T Forklift, HC Truck Driver and Skid Steer operations.
  • Responsible for operation of plant used for material handling and equipment/material relocations
  • Assure that all loads are within the load capacity of the equipment and correctly secured
  • Perform tasks outside of main Operator duties during periods where the plant is not in use due to weather, mechanical maintenance/failure of the plant or work scope requirements
  • Remain in continual voice (radio), hand, and or communication with other road users, other plant operator and other personnel within work areas while operating the plant

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Construction Industry
  • Hold a Valid High Risk Work License
  • Valid HR, HC or MC license
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card
