This is a Greenfields lithium project, and the scope includes the SMPEI construction of new and parallel processing structures and equipment to expand the mines nameplate capacity to 1000ktpa. Civmec will construct an additional grinding and classification circuit, Pre-flotation magnetic separation circuit, a duplicated flotation circuit, wet processing circuit, reagents facility, a product and storage facility, along with the provision of supporting water, air, and power infrastructure services. Civmec will also be installing several large vendor equipment packages, such as thickeners, a ball mill, and filter press.
This is a great opportunity for qualified & experienced Pipefitters to join our SMP team working on the Pilgangoora project in the Pilbara Region of WA, on a FIFO 3 & 1 roster with flights from major cities around Australia.
The Role
- Install pipe to modules, measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation and or other methods
- Repair any damage to pipes by regular inspection and detect any malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of service cycles in a timely manner
- Assemble new pipes and plan layout of the same pipes
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Minimum 2+ years heavy industry experience as a Pipe Fitter is essential
- Previous construction experience within the mining and resources (preferable)
- High Risk work licence with EWP (WP) over 11 meters
- Valid Working at Heights (desirable)
- Spotter Training
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card
