The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our Project team, on a FIFO 2:1 roster based in the Pilbara region. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the construction of electrical components on site.
  • Oversee the ELectrical subcontractors on site
  • Supervise and control designated project works for all electrical duties.
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries.
  • Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out.
  • Produce as-built drawings for electrical installations.
  • Organise project testing requirements.
  • Compose weekly progress reports.
  • Update schedules as required.
  • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives.
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques.
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement for all Company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and work to the safety and quality management systems, procedures and work instructions.
  • Promote and maintain a positive and respectful team environment for all those under their control.
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
     

About You

  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Previous demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Subcontractor management experience
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project planning and resource management is essential.
  • Previous site-based construction and electrical experience is desirable.
