The Opportunity
Civmec have secured a new Capital Works Project SMP and E&I Construction
We offer an immediate opportunity for experienced Rigging Supervisor to join the site based project team
Immediate start - expected duration 9 months with further projects to follow
This will be a 2:1 FIFO roster with the point of hire Perth - Competitive industry based salary with uplift and PCB
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction and erection of structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) mining components on site
- Supervise and control designated project works for all SMP duties
- Process material take-offs
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out
- Produce as-built drawings for piping installations
- Compose weekly progress reports
- Update schedules as required
- Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
- Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
- Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
- Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
About You
Essential
- Advanced Rigging Ticket
- Working at heights and Confined Space
- Basic Dogging and Basic Rigging tickets
- White Card/Blue Card
- Minimum five (5) years' experience working in the construction, resource industry on large scale projects
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
- Developed interpersonal skills
