This is a great opportunity to join our Electrical team working on the Western Range project located in the Pilbara, Western Australia.

The Project

Civmec has secured the award of a major construction contract for the Rio Tinto Western Range Project at their Paraburdoo site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The iron ore project includes Greenfields and Brownfields scope with the construction of a new Run of Mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit and modifications to the Coarse Ore Stockpile (COS) and downstream conveying system.

Your Background

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

Carry out cable ladder/conduit installation
Complete cable installation
Carry out cable terminations
Installation of devices and instruments
2+ years Industrial experience as an Electrician
Previous construction experience on a remote project within the mining and resources sector (preferable)
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Electrical
Western Australian Electrical License
Current High Risk Work License with:
- EWP (WP)
Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card
Valid Working at Heights (desirable)
Valid First Aid, LVR & CPR (desirable)
