We are looking for both Electrical Supervisors and Electrical Superintendents to join the Rio Tinto Western Range Project, located in Paraburdoo, Western Australia. This position will be working a 2:1 roster with opportunities for night shift. If you’re interested in contributing to this significant project, it’s a great chance to grow your career in the mining and resources industry.

The iron ore project includes a Greenfields scope with the construction of a new run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit, and modifications to the coarse ore stockpile (COS) and downstream conveying system.

The Role

  • Liaise with HSE and construction teams to ensure works are carried out in line with site requirements.
  • Independently and efficiently manage work crews.
  • Coordinate with key Superintendents and Construction Managers.
  • Schedule and coordinate site plant and equipment.
  • Ensure alignment of subcontractors and critical interfaces.
  • Complete daily reports and fulfill reporting requirements.
  • Plan works efficiently with materials and resources.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will require the following qualifications and skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card.
  • Western Australian Electrical License.
  • Current High Risk Work License with EWP (WP).
  • Willingness to complete RIO Inductions and Face-to-Face Aveling training.
