The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking expressions of interest from Civil Project Engineers to join our ever growing team, for drive in drive out (DIDO) construction opportunities in the South West of Western Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
• Understand and implement quality control techniques
• Attend operations meetings
• Preparation and issue of weekly status reports
• Maintain project files
• Preparation of work schedules
• Preparation of material requisitions
• Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
• Take timely corrective action to address any issued non-conformances
• Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
• Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed

About You

Essential

• Tertiary qualifications in structural, civil engineering or construction management
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite is essential
• Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred

• Previous project experience on fabrication and installation projects ideally in the mining, oil and gas sector is desirable .
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role is preferred
