The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking expressions of interest for Area Superintendents to join our ever growing team, on a new and exciting Construction project recently awarded in the South West of Western Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Travel to all mine sites in the area and meet with potential clients and introduce themselves and the company and attempt to develop tender opportunities.
  • Support current contracts, develop and expand on current projects.
  • Prepare weekly BD report
  • Control Budgets and Productivity on all projects under
  • Prepare weekly progress and PF tracker on all current works
  • Prepare Pro-forma for invoicing at the end of each month
  • Organise Labour requirements with HR to adequately resource current works’
  • Be accountable for all day works to be recorded accurately and signed off by client
  • Organise plant hire and return of equipment
  • Organise, stock and maintain site boxes for unplanned shutdown works.
  • Prepare Quotations and project budgets for small works.
  • Attend tender meetings.
  • Develop regional centres/Offices when required and laydown yards in critical areas.
  • Pursue Surface treatment, fireproofing and insulation works and any other potentials that fall within Civmecs current and future capabilities
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required

About You

Essential

  • 7 years' experience working within the construction industry

 

Preferred

  • Relevant trade qualification is desirable
