The Opportunity

Civmec are currently seeking expressions of interest from Civil Supervisors to join our ever growing team, for drive in drive out (DIDO) construction opportunities in the South West of Western Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of construction of civil construction works onsite
  • Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Conduct regular inspections on buildings and materials to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
  • Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out
  • Prepare and edit construction plans, maps, charts and drawings to client specifications
  • Compose weekly progress reports
  • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed

About You

Essential

  • Recognised Australian Trade Qualification
  • White Card/Blue Card
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Developed interpersonal skills

 

Preferred

  • Working at heights and Confined Space
  • Basic Dogging and Basic Rigging tickets
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience performing civil construction on site
