Join the Civmec Team

This is a great opportunity to join our Maintenance Team working on FIFO projects across the North West of Australia. We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for adhoc work in a FIFO capacity across the Pilbara. 

First swing will be 18/10 - 01/11.
 

The Role

  • Ensure compliance to the Civmec Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management system
  • Provide guidance to the workforce on safe methods of work
  • Assist with investigations of workplace incidents and record on the HSE database
  • Maintain HSE recording systems and registers
  • Promote health and safety policies and procedures to all personnel
  • Analyse and report hazards on site and develop control measures
  • Liaise with site supervision to ensure understanding of the HSE management system and procedures

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Certificate IV in OHS or Tertiary qualification in related discipline essential
  • Previous experience within a maintenance/shutdown environment
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
  • A good understanding of Rio Tinto's WHS Policies and Procedures
