The Role
- Assist Project Manager to review contractual obligations and contract templates
- Advise client and relevant parties of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project
- Provide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes
- Update and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registers
- Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation)
- Prepare contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project
- Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Law or Construction Management
- Significant knowledge in Commercial and Contractual Administration roles within the Construction Sector
- Previously worked on Construction projects, significantly worked in site-based roles
- Strong understanding of commercial management and project controls
- Strong, clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite intermediate/advanced
- High attention to detail and proven organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
