Civmec is looking for experienced Piping Supervisors with a proven track record in delivering piping solutions and managing vertical projects within the resources sector. The Role

  • Oversee piping processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and welding codes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Welders and Pipe Fitters, providing guidance and support
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting
  • Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace;

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • AS 1796 Certificate 10
  • Experience working on a large-scale construction and/or maintenance projects in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and welding techniques
  • Managing and driving completions and work crews.
  • Well-honed project planning and scheduling skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and stakeholder management
