Join the Civmec Team

This is a great opportunity to join our Civil team working on the Northam Cranbrook Road upgrade in the Wheatbelt Region of WA. This project will be open to Locals and Non-Locals to the area.

The Project

The project will consist of an upgrade to the Northam Cranbrook Road between Beverley and Brookton including shoulder widening, stabilisation, culvert installation and sealing.

What's on offer

  • Expected project completion Dec 2024
  • Accommodation provided Monday – Friday for Non-Locals
  • Monday to Friday roster, be home on the weekends.
  • Up to 12 Hour days
  • Opportunity to join our growing construction division and work across multiple projects.

The Role

  • 3+ Years’ Experience in operating; Excavator, Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Roller or Watercart *multi-ticketed candidates highly desirable*
  • Experience in final trim road works
  • Main Roads experience
  • Road Widening experience
  • Culvert and drainage installation experience
  • Stabilisation and road sealing experience

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Experience in operating one or more of the following Plant, experience across multiple plant and equipment is desirable:
    • Grader
    • Roller
    • Front End Loader
    • Excavator
    • Bobcat
    • Water Cart
    • Semi Tipper
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • Complete a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
