This is a great opportunity for qualified Pipe Fitters to join our Maintenance division, working from our Gladstone Workshop.

  • Immediate Start
  • $52.89p/hr + penalties
  • Weekly Pay 

The Role

In this role you will be required to: 

  • The ability to interpret and fabricate using isometric drawing to the required standards and specifications  
  • Complete ITP’s and follow quality control systems and techniques including daily fit up reports.
  • Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes
  • Mark and record joint and spool numbers including material heat numbers
  • Problem solving and forward thinking.
  • Installation of valves and water pipes.
  • The ability to use a pipe threader
  • Hydrostatic testing to relevant standards

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space within 2 years highly regarded.
  • Workshop experience
  • Current ‘C” Class Drivers licence or above
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Experience with the following processes GMAW / FCAW / GTAW / MMAW
