We have an exciting opportunity at Civmec. Join us as we embark on a journey of diversification and expansion. We are looking for an experience QC Inspector who embodies Civmec's values. Due to a pipeline of current and forecasted works we are looking for a QC Inspector at Civmec’s Henderson Facility.

The Role

The main duties of this position are:

  • Perform work in accordance with the Quality Assurance management systems procedures and work instructions.
  • Undertake general welding inspection duties.
  • Prepare and assist in welding traceability issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of corporate and project specific documentation and review Manufacturers Data Reports (MDR).
  • Report on product and process non-conformance and product preservation.
  • Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Post Weld Heat Treatment PWHT) requirements.
  • Organise and assist with welding qualification verification.
  • Understand the intent and function of the safety and quality management systems.
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Technical Trade or engineering qualifications
  • CSWIP 3.1 (Inspector) or equivalent international qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
