This is a great opportunity to join our Manufacturing and assembly Team and work in the largest fabrication facility of its kind at our Henderson Facility. Working on a variety of complex and high-profile projects, you will gain hands on experience and work within a world class team.

The Role

Measure and inspect critical journals and bores
Conduct inspections of bearings and pinions
Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process
Fitting of bearings, shafts, and couplings, ensuring correct alignment and clearance using precision instruments.
Use iPads to manage job progression and documentation
Contribute to Lean initiatives and workshop efficiency
Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance
Interpreting technical drawings and work instructions for equipment installation,

About You

Mechanical Trade Certificate - Fitting (essential)
experience with Process Plants, balanced machines, Structural, Mechanical and Piping works within the Mining industry (highly desired)
Current C Class Drivers’ Licence
Experience in bearing installations, pulley installations and alignments
Team orientated approach to your work while possessing the ability to work independently if required
Have solid decision-making skills
Strong measuring skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated strong commitment to safety
Willingness to learn and grow within a high-performing team
Must have Current ewp and working at heights - essential
Experience in flange management
Flexibility in work scope
