Civmec is seeking an experienced QC Coating Inspector to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and workmanship across our projects. Based within our Paint Facility team in Henderson, this position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in coating inspection, quality assurance, and continuous improvement while contributing to the success of a leading Australian company.
The Role
• Performing detailed inspections of coatings, ensuring they meet specifications, standards and client requirements
• Conducting various tests to evaluate coating adhesion, thickness, durability and appearance
• Maintaining accurate records of inspection results, documenting any deviations and assisting in quality reports
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols during coating processes
• Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for enhancing coating processes and quality.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:
- NACE Level 2
- White card
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
