This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Civmec’s Manufacturing and Fabrication Team, working at our Henderson Facility—home to the largest fabrication facility of its kind in Australia. Working on a variety of complex and high-profile projects, you will gain hands on experience and work within a world class team.

The Role

  • Assist with developing and executing lift plans
  • Pre-assembly and install structural steel components
  • Set up and operate rigging equipment such as chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors, and lever hoists
  • Attach rigging gear to loads and structures to facilitate safe movement
  • Align, level and anchor heavy machinery and structural components
  • Inspect, maintain and tag rigging gear to ensure compliance and safety
  • Store rigging equipment properly to prevent damage or misuse

 

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following

  • Current High Risk Work license
  • Current high risk Rigging licence and VOC
  • Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
  • Current High Risk Elevating Work Platform License and VOC
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  •  

Essential

  • Previous construction experience in the mining and resources sector
  • Steel erection experience
