This is a great opportunity to join our North West Maintenance Team working on the Yara Fertilisers Major Plant Shutdown. We are seeking experienced and reliable Painter Blasters to join our team. The Role
- Mobilise and demobilising blasting hoppers/spray pumps and encapsulations
- Abrasive blast, ranging from a whip class SA 3 on ferrous and nonferrous substrates using both garnet and steel abrasives
- Hand/Mechanical preparation of repair areas using orbital sanders and MBX's
- Brush/Roll stripe coats as required.
- Using mainly airless spray, apply up to 5 coats systems required DFT's/specifications
- Application of; Inorganic zinc's, Epoxy zinc's, High build epoxies, Antifouls and Acrylic polyurethanes.
- Remediate areas marked up by quality inspectors to meet the requirements of clients' specification.
About You
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- 3 - 5 years' previous experience within the Industry
- Airless spray and blasting experience
- High Risk Work Licence - LF & EWP (preferred)
- Working at Heights (preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
