Civmec is delivering major civil, concrete and SMPE&I works for Iluka's Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery, Australia's first fully integrated rare earths processing facility.
As our scope continues to grow, we're seeking experienced Piping Supervisors to lead piping construction activities across this landmark project.
These long-term opportunities offer a 2:1 roster, providing the chance to work on a nationally significant development while leading skilled crews through all stages of construction. The Role
- Lead and supervise piping installation activities across allocated work fronts
- Coordinate crews, equipment and materials to achieve construction milestones
- Drive productivity, quality and schedule performance across piping works
- Review and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs and construction packages
- Monitor progress and proactively manage work priorities and resource requirements
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and company procedures
- Conduct toolbox meetings and provide day-to-day leadership to site crews
- Support testing, pre-commissioning and project handover activities
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates and construction documentation
- Build strong working relationships with project, engineering, quality and HSE teams
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Previous experience as a Piping Supervisor, Piping Leading Hand or Senior Pipefitter
- Proven experience delivering piping construction works on major mining, resources, oil & gas or industrial projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate site-based workforces
- Sound knowledge of piping installation, testing and commissioning requirements
- Ability to interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs and construction documentation
- Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Recognised Trade Qualification
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Schedule 26 qualification
